1. Who we are
ArivArk Academy ("we", "us", "our") operates the website arivark.com, its TNPSC test-series platform, study materials, current-affairs pages and related services (together, the "Service"). These Terms are an agreement between you and ArivArk Academy. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
ArivArk Academy is a private coaching institute. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) or any other government body. Official notifications, syllabi, dates and results are published only by the concerned authority on its own website.
2. Accounts and sign-in
- You can register with your email address or sign in with Google. Either way, you must provide accurate details and keep your login credentials confidential.
- Each account is for a single individual. To protect our content, only one active device session is allowed per student account at a time - logging in on a new device signs out the previous one.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed it.
- You may close your account at any time by contacting us (see Contact us).
3. Use of our content
- All test questions, answer explanations, study notes, current-affairs material, videos, rank lists and other content on the Service are the intellectual property of ArivArk Academy (or our licensors) and are provided for your personal exam preparation only.
- You may not copy, record, screenshot for redistribution, share, resell, republish or publicly post our content anywhere - including WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, YouTube or other websites.
- Official TNPSC material quoted on our pages (syllabus text, notification extracts) belongs to the issuing authority; we reproduce it for candidates' reference with source attribution.
- Sharing account access or paid content with others is a serious breach and may result in suspension of your account without refund.
4. Purchases and access
- Free test series and free content are available to all registered students. Paid test series require a successful payment before access is granted.
- Access to a purchased series is valid for the duration described on that series' page. We may add, update or reschedule tests within a series over time to keep it aligned with the latest exam pattern.
- Prices shown at the time of purchase are final for that purchase. We may run offers or revise prices for future buyers; this does not change what you already paid or entitle anyone to a refund of the difference.
5. Payments
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. By purchasing, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
- We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials - the entire payment happens on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
- After a successful payment you receive access immediately, and your Payment ID appears on your profile page. Keep it - it is what we use to trace any payment issue.
- If money is deducted but access is not activated, contact us with your Payment ID; see our Refund Policy for how this is resolved.
6. Fair use and exam integrity
Test scores and rank lists exist to give you an honest picture of your preparation. Any attempt to manipulate scores, use multiple accounts, tamper with the platform, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape content, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service is prohibited and may lead to immediate termination of your account.
7. Community conduct
Where the Service includes chat, doubt-clearing or other community features, be respectful. Do not post abusive, obscene, defamatory or unlawful content, spam, advertisements, or anyone's personal information. We may remove content and restrict accounts that break this rule.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access - maintenance, upgrades and events outside our control can cause downtime. We may modify, add or discontinue features from time to time. If a scheduled test is affected by downtime on our side, we reschedule it or extend its window.
9. Important disclaimer
Our material is designed to help you prepare for TNPSC and related examinations. We verify exam facts against official notifications, but we do not guarantee any particular examination result, mark, rank or selection. Syllabus, pattern, dates, eligibility and results are governed solely by the concerned examination authority, and its official publications always prevail over anything on our pages.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArivArk Academy shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service - including loss of opportunity related to any examination. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms - most commonly for sharing paid content or account access. Where the breach is serious, no refund is payable for the unused period. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
12. Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which explains exactly when a refund is available and how to request one.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time - for example, when we launch new features. The latest version, with its revision date, is always on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu.
