Full-length Group 2 and 2A Prelims mock tests on the real pattern. Choose General Tamil + GS or General English + GS, write online or on OMR, and see where you stand in one instant rank list.
Only the first attempt is ranked. Online first, or the OMR route, comes in the rank list (OMR marks carry an OMR tag). Just opening the PDFs, or writing the test again, is practice and is not ranked.
| Part | Subject | Standard | Questions |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | General Studies | Degree | 75 |
| B | Aptitude and Mental Ability | SSLC | 25 |
| C | General Tamil or General English | SSLC | 100 |
| Total: 3 hours, 1 mark for each correct answer, no negative mark | 200 | ||
To qualify, TNPSC needs at least 60 correct answers. Full unit-wise split: TNPSC Group 2 and 2A syllabus.
Yes. Create a free ArivArk account with your name and district, and you can write every mock test on this page.
The same as the TNPSC Group 2/2A Prelims: 200 questions in 3 hours. 75 General Studies (degree standard), 25 Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC standard) and 100 General Tamil or General English (SSLC standard). In the mock each correct answer is 1 mark, so your marks out of 200 are simply your number of correct answers. There is no negative mark.
Yes. Inside each mock test you choose one paper: General Tamil + General Studies, or General English + General Studies, the same choice you made in your TNPSC application.
There is one rank list for both papers, as in TNPSC: General Tamil and General English candidates are ranked together by marks out of 200 (one mark for each correct answer). When two students have the same marks, the one who took less time comes first. The rank list updates instantly after every submission.
Only your first attempt. Write the test online first to be ranked. You can also take the question paper PDF, write on an OMR sheet, upload a photo of the sheet with your time and enter your marks: that also comes in the rank list, with an OMR tag. If you only open the PDFs, or write the test again, it is practice and is not ranked.
