Status on 5 October 2026: online applications for Group 2 and 2A closed on 9 September (the correction window ran from 13 to 15 September). The Prelims is on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM - 22 days to go.

  • Hall ticket: not released yet. Going by this year's Group 1 gap, expect it around 20 to 22 October. How to download it
  • Answer key: question-wise on this site on exam evening, 1 November. Group 2 answer key 2026

Your final-month plan:

  • Till 18 October: one full-length test every 3 days; after each test, revise only the units where you lost the most marks.
  • 19 to 25 October: write previous year Group 2 papers at the real exam time, 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
  • 26 to 31 October: no new topics. Revise your own notes, recent current affairs and language rules, and sleep on time.
  • The last tests of our Focus Group 2 Test Series run till 27 October.

The TNPSC Group 2 hall ticket 2026 has not been released yet. When it releases, it can be downloaded only from the Commission's website www.tnpscexams.in - TNPSC calls it the "memorandum of admission" and it is never sent by post. The Prelims exam is on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. We will update this page the same day the hall ticket goes live.

When Will the Hall Ticket Be Released?

TNPSC has not announced an exact release date in Notification 07/2026. In recent TNPSC exams, hall tickets have generally appeared in the final weeks before the exam date - but treat that as a pattern, not a promise. This year's Group 1 hall ticket, for example, came out on 17 September - 10 days before its 27 September exam. The same gap would put the Group 2 hall ticket around 20 to 22 October. The reliable way to know: TNPSC sends an SMS and email alert to your registered mobile number and email ID when candidate events happen, so keep both active, and watch www.tnpscexams.in.

How to Download (When It Releases)

  1. Go to www.tnpscexams.in.
  2. Log in with your One Time Registration (OTR) email ID and password - the same login you used to apply.
  3. Open your candidate dashboard and select the Combined Civil Services Examination - II (Group II and IIA) hall ticket link.
  4. Download the PDF and check every detail on it (see below).
  5. Take a clear printout - and save the PDF on your phone as a backup copy too.

Check These Details Immediately

  • Your name, photograph and signature appear correctly.
  • Your examination centre and venue address - plan your travel the same day you download, especially if the venue is in another town.
  • The date and session timing printed on it.
  • Read every instruction printed on the hall ticket - the notification says candidates must comply with all of them.

Do not carry: mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic device - they are banned inside the exam hall, and the notification warns that no safekeeping arrangement is assured. Leave them at home or with someone outside.
