Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme: Key Details

Beneficiaries: Male students who have completed schooling in government schools

Objectives

To boost education levels in Tamil Nadu

Eligibility Criteria

Male students who have completed classes 6 to 12 in government schools in Tamil Nadu
Students pursuing diploma, degree, undergraduate, vocational, or paramedical courses
Permanent residents of Tamil Nadu
Students enrolled in regular courses (not through distance education or open universities)

Disbursement Method

Financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of eligible students.
