You can apply for TNPSC Group 4 2026 only online, at www.tnpscexams.in, from 6 October to 5 November 2026 (11.59 PM). You apply through your One Time Registration (OTR) login. The fee is Rs. 100. If you make a mistake, you can correct it from 9 to 11 November 2026. The exam is on Sunday, 10 January 2027. Below are the steps, in order.

Last date: 5 November 2026, 11.59 PM - 23 days left. Do not wait for the last days. The website becomes slow.

Keep These Ready First

  • Aadhaar: it must be linked to your OTR. Without it you cannot apply.
  • A new photo: taken on or after 6 October 2026. Make the photo (20 to 50 KB) and signature (10 to 20 KB) files with our free TNPSC photo and signature tool.
  • Your SSLC certificate: your name, date of birth and community must match it. If you wrote SSLC more than once, use the details of the attempt you passed.
  • Other certificates for the post you want: for example the typewriting or shorthand certificate for Typist and Steno-Typist, or your degree for posts that need one.
  • The fee: Rs. 100, paid online. If you are new to TNPSC, the OTR fee of Rs. 150 is extra (valid for 5 years).

Step-by-Step: How to Apply

  1. Open www.tnpscexams.in, the TNPSC application website.
  2. New to TNPSC? Create your One Time Registration first: your name exactly as in your certificates, date of birth, community, education, photo, signature, mobile number and email. Link your Aadhaar. Pay Rs. 150. Our OTR guide has every step.
  3. Log in with the User ID and password you created. Forgot them? Use "Forgot User ID" or "Forgot Password" on the login page.
  4. Check your OTR details on the screen. If anything is wrong, correct it through "OTR Edit" before you apply. Your application copies whatever your OTR has at that moment.
  5. Click "APPLY" next to Notification No. 11/2026, Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group IV Services).
  6. Choose the posts you are eligible for and want, and fill in the details the form asks for.
  7. Upload your new photo and signature.
  8. Pay the fee of Rs. 100 online. If you claim a fee exemption, remember that each free application uses up one of your free chances.
  9. Submit, then download and keep a copy of your application.

Made a Mistake? Use the Correction Window

The correction window is open from 9 November 2026 (12.01 AM) to 11 November 2026 (11.59 PM). This is the only time you can change your submitted application, for example a wrong post choice, community or spelling. After 11 November, no change is allowed.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • An old photo, or a photo or signature in the wrong size.
  • Name, date of birth or community that does not match your SSLC certificate.
  • Wrong SSLC register number, month or year of passing.
  • Waiting for the last day, and then the website is slow.
  • Forgetting the correction window. It closes for good on 11 November.

தவறு செய்துவிட்டீர்களா? திருத்த காலம்

விண்ணப்பத் திருத்த காலம் 9 நவம்பர் 2026 (அதிகாலை 12.01) முதல் 11 நவம்பர் 2026 (இரவு 11.59) வரை. சமர்ப்பித்த விண்ணப்பத்தை மாற்ற இதுவே ஒரே வாய்ப்பு, உதாரணமாக தவறான பதவித் தேர்வு, சாதிப் பிரிவு அல்லது எழுத்துப்பிழை. நவம்பர் 11-க்குப் பிறகு எந்த மாற்றமும் அனுமதிக்கப்படாது.
